Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Aged Jamaican Rum Appleton Estate Reserve
  • 1 oz Rhum Agricole Clement Première Canne
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
  • ¼ oz High-Quality Orgeat Liber & Co.
  • ¼ oz Rich Simple Syrup 2:1
  • Garnish: A fresh mint sprig and a spent lime shell.

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to your shaker tin.
  2. Fill with crushed ice.
  3. Shake vigorously until the tin is frosty (a "flash shake").
  4. Open pour, unstrained, into a double old-fashioned glass.
  5. Top up with more fresh crushed ice.
  6. Place the spent lime shell face down in the ice.
  7. Slap your mint sprig against your palm to release its aromatics and place it in the drink.
